Planning and Scheduling of Products
Master Product Plan (MPR) is a feature of Odoo Manufacturing module that assists the planning, organizing and forecasting of manufacturing work order. You can also handle the products, their replenishing of work orders, bill of materials, minimum and maximum stock, etc.

Creation of Manufacturing Orders
The Odoo Manufacturing module makes managing manufacturing orders easier. Work Orders
The working employees in your manufacturing company can easily schedule/ plan their work using work orders. Here, you can also define steps of work orders, bill of materials, work operations along with timesheets and specify work centers and time durations. The status of work orders can then be tracked as follows: In Progress, Ready, Waiting, Pending, Completed, and Late. You can see the status of work orders in a variety of ways for analysis, including list view, Kanban view, Calendar view, pivot view, and bar graph view. This aspect of the Odoo Manufacturing process comes in useful when it comes to establishing employee payslips based on the work they completed over a period of time.

Scrap order
Due to some issues, a manufacturer may have to scrap a few products. These products are known as scrap products. You can easily manage scrap products' on the basis of their reference number, quantity, unit of measure, source location (the location from which a product is removed), scrap location (the location where scrap product is placed, once it is removed from), company and status.

Unbuilt Order
The Odoo Manufacturing module also provides the functionality to manage unbuilt orders. The unbuilt orders means breaking down of products. However, not all the products can be unbuilt. The Odoo Manufacturing module also allows you to handle uncompleted orders. The term "unbuilt orders" refers to the deconstruction of products. However, not all goods can be disassembled. The Odoo Manufacturing module makes it simple to create and manage unbuilt orders, including name, reference, bill of materials, manufacturing order, quantity, lot/ serial number, and business. You can also keep track of their status, which includes new, canceled, awaiting another move, awaiting availability, partially available, and available.

Work order Planning
It's critical to schedule work orders one by one so that no two work orders in the same work center are scheduled at the same time. The Planning tab in Odoo allows you to arrange the start and finish dates of work orders for a day, week, month, or year. You can also define work instructions, their steps and components.

Bill of materials
A bill of materials is a list of the resources needed to make a product. It's really simple to keep track of the bill of materials required for product manufacture. Manage product bill of materials, variants, quantity, reference numbers, unit of measurement and a lot more.

Product Life Cycle Management ( PLM)
One of the best features of Odoo Manufacturing module is Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), which allows you to create and manage various aspects/ stages of a product. It allows you to create engineering change orders and its types, engineering change order approvals as well as bill of materials.
