Help Desk Ticket Management System


Synconics Technologies have developed many modules, helpful to utility service industries, Helpdesk Ticket Management System, through which the customer service can be managed. The customer can raise complaints through phone, website or just walk-in the customer service centre and register a complaint for the issues they face. The Helpdesk ticket management system raises a ticket and then based on the complaint, it is assigned to the concerned team. For e.g. a customer raises a complaint for power cut at his residence, pertaining to the locality or the suburb they live, the ticket is assigned to the concerned team assigned for the suburb. The module also provides the functionality to escalate the ticket to higher hierarchy or to another team, if it is not resolved by the assigned team. 
The Helpdesk ticket management system is also linked with inventory and invoice. Once the issue is resolved an SMS message is sent to the client after the ticket is resolved.

Human Resource (HR)

Work force is the most essential support required for the utility industry. Managing the work force a robust HR system is required for recruiting fresh man-power, managing leaves and payroll calculation. Odoo offers an HR module which covers basic features, but Synconics Technologies has developed an advanced HR system covering all the functionalities required for managing HR operations from employee recruitment process till the retirement process or end of service (EOS). The system has employee contract management defining their pay scale, leaves and other incentives offered, based on the hierarchy of the management role.

Customer invoices & Recurring invoices


Utility companies have millions of customers and to invoice these customers an ERP system is needed to process bulk invoices together. Odoo offers batch invoices processing, wherein the invoices are processed together for a selected batch. Thus it saves time and human efforts to invoice individual customers for their utility consumption. In addition to batch invoice processing, Synconics Technologies has developed recurring invoices for subscription based utility companies, The company providing internet connection or a mobile or a cell phone service provider have multiple subscription plans, wherein the customer selects a monthly or quarterly or yearly subscription plan, the bill the customers, multiple recurring invoice can be processed. The recurring invoice module is the most useful tool without worrying about the missed invoices or the subscription amount not being paid.

Project management

Being into public service, the utility companies have never ending small and big ongoing projects for laying new connections, resolving issues, replacing old tampered meters, replace old infrastructure with the new, maintaining connections, etc. to manage these projects, Odoo project management system is the useful module, wherein multiple stages can be defined with multiple tasks and each task can be mentioned with description. As the tasks are done they can be moved from one stage to another effortlessly. The stages can be configured as per the business project requirements and documents can also be attached to the project/task. As most of the projects are similar to each other in nature, the project management templates can be created, defining the prerequisite procedure/steps to be followed by the employees for a successful completion procedure.

Maintenance


For providing hassle free service to the mass population, maintenance is the most important aspect of the utility industry. There is a constant wear-&-tear occurring to the equipment's, infrastructure, etc. which is to be maintained periodically. To manage these resources a scheduler is managed for constant monitoring and maintenance. Odoo maintenance module provides options to manage and maintain the resources on fixed periods. In the module the resource description is feeded and the maintenance points to be checked and replaced after a certain period. For e.g. an electric power supply company needs to maintain sub transformers at multiple locations and there are certain parts to be replaced during the maintenance procedure.
